Templates.com St. Valentine wallpaper contest

Templates is having their current wallpaper contest themed as “Love will save the world” which is devoted to St. Valentines day.

Joining is so simple. Just register on their site and submit your entry. They welcome any type of image, 3D art, vectors, photos and pixmaps. Images must also be in .jpg (JPEG) format and you wallpaper must be in four resolutions, 800×600, 1024×768, 1280×1024 and 1600×1200. and main condition is to put the template.com logo on your wallpaper. Contest will end on February 14, 2009 and the winner will be announced on February 16, 2009.

I’m back with new updates

It’s been awhile since the last time I had updated this blog. I was so busy complying my requirements for graduation and a bit pressured because I need to ensure that all subjects will have high marks. And finally its all over and I’m back here blogging again with some new updates. ^_^

Since I have lots of time now I will be working with two blogs. This one and a new blog which is not done yet. Here’s a sneak peak of the new blog.

nPixels is all about art. It’s more of like showcasing the diverse products of digital art. In nPixels you will find various works from me and various works from other artists around the globe who I fave much. nPixels will also be a den for tutorials like Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom etc.

I think that will be all for now. I’m gonna post other updates soon. Better watch out for it. ^_^

Wordcamp Philippines 2008

There are, quite literally, hundreds of blogging flatforms and packages out there. Choosing the right one for you can be such a daunting task that most people simply pick what is most well known, without necessarily picking based on quality of the software or the longevity of the platform.

Thankfully, Wordpress is both well known and deserving of it’s status as the most popular PHP-based blogging platform available. And as a first time user I could say that Wordpress really done a great job!

In line with this, Wordpress will be conducting an event which will be the best venue for wordpress enthusiast to gather together and know what’s hot and what’s the latest about wodrdpress.

The event will be held on 4th of September 2008 from 6:00-10:00 pm at Toto’s Bar in Casa Leticia, J Camus st., Davao City Philippines
