Money and Power

What is money? A medium that can be exchanged for goods and services, an amount of cash and credit or something cruel tempting and enticing? Money is a part of everyone’s life, and we all want it.
We want it to wear trendy, nice clothes, to have luxurious personal ornaments, we want it to make presents, gifts for our loved ones, we want it to drive a car, we want it to eat well and to live in our sweet homes happily. And who doesn’t wish for these?
But it is not only our desire to have money, we need it. We need money to buy medicines, have a shelter and not die of hunger. And Money is one of the most widespread problems of the world.

First let’s say that definite sum of money, person has, makes inhabitants to be divided in 2 types: rich and poor. And also I want to mention that majority of earth population are poor.
The world is full of poor people: homeless, dispossessed, refugees, asylum-seekers, the victims of catastrophes, or just unemployed people, who can’t make ends meet.
And who are rich ones? - people who are born wealthy, like royalty, or who achieve success and gain wealth, like superstars, businessmen, also politicians, who steal and eat money, like round of sandwich, serious, hardened criminals and mafias.

When a person experiences the feeling of having a lot of money, he/she wants it more and more. It is like an addiction, an irresistible lure. Money is corrupting, depraving a human. It makes them lose humanity and they become pigs.
To wealthy people, thousand is chickenfeed, but still it is very hard to make them to give a quid to a beggar.
For money people are ready to go on everything: they commit very serious crimes, become prostitutes, evils, they lie and make fool of millions of people. Because of money, wealth, power every hour, hundreds of people die.

Power is as corrupting and tempting as money as we already talked about. They are very connected with each other. Money bears power and vice-versa, power bears money. Like money: people who have enormous power, are aspiring for more and more. They want to occupy a great number of lands and privacies, to conquer countries, to make people obey them, which causes violence, wars, blood and excessive rise of human death toll.

But, why not look at the money from positive side? Despite all these harshness, the money can still be used for benevolence and kindness. It can be put in charity and donations of helping poor people. It depends on whose hands will money fall in.
