It is definitely my honor to introduce all of you to the incredible novel “Cat’s Eye.” I honestly can’t tell you how many times I’ve read this story. I stumbled upon it several years ago, and it was the first connection between me and the author. Since then, I’ve had the chance to read and critique it throughout Theresa’s growth as an author, and now, finally, it’s been published.

What can I say- it seemed like the right time to bring you all a review!

Cat’s Eye is an action-packed coming-of-age story set in a lush fantasy world. Sora, the heroine, is a noble girl with dreams of adventure, who finds those dreams come crashing into her life at the hands of an assassin known as Crash. The events she finds herself in are even more complicated at the hands of exotic fantasy races, mages, and soul-endangering jewelry.

The plot proceeds at an edge-of-your-seat pace, and more than once, I’ve stayed up nearly all night to finish the story. Even so, it’s the wonderful characterizations that have kept me a fan all these years. Her protagonists are believably flawed, making it easy to truly relate to their struggles. The villains, too, are more than simple cut-out monsters; they are people that more often than not, I really pitied. Early on in the book, I discovered that I wanted to know these characters inside and out!

What more can I say? It’s a “young adult” novel, but one that I definitely would recommend to readers of all ages. Definitely worth the read!
